Our role is to support you in your energy transition journey. My name is Paul Hobcraft.

As the founder, I work as a transition advocate for innovation, ecosystems within IIoT, and the energy system, as my primary focal points. I have been investing my time in growing my understanding, expertise, and thinking over these “core” topics. I relate content to context to give greater knowledge and build the transition narratives we are all undergoing.

We focus as innovating experts positioning ourselves at the Front End of the Energy Transition, the discovery and validation phases, to accelerate your thinking and support the shaping of future opportunities that give growth and impact potential.

Our belief is there is a real gap in the need to build a robust innovation capability, capacity and competency for achieving real change in the energy system.

With over twenty years of advising and transforming innovation activities and experience, positioned to help fill that understanding gap, putting context and content together.

  • Transformational insights are seen at the front end of the transitions that we are all undertaking. These observations provide the “fuel” to underpin my supportive advisory & mentoring services to a client.
  • This dynamic environment nurtures my understanding of what is evolving and what impact and growth opportunities this has for a business to explore and exploit by taking the innovator’s perspective into the assessment of the need of a client’s energy and industrial transition.
  • My primary role is advising and coaching within these areas. The principal focuses then on supporting and building internal capacity, build-out competencies, and capabilities to undertake any transformation journey and make the undertaking sustaining..
  • I break my business out into dedicated focal topics, those “big transforming” points of impact, applying understanding and insights that are, in my mind, complementary, synergistic or clarifying new emerging intersections for growth potential that has value-adding impact and business model change.
  • The transitions we are currently undertaking are having, in my view, a very different combination effect on value creation and business impact and these are where I can specifically make a contribution.

I run a specialized advisor and mentoring business called Agility Innovation; it has an intensity of focus on its client’s needs and always looking to contribute to your own specific journey.

Energy is transforming, and it is those that build new solutions through innovation that will become the frontrunners.
